The Play: Mrs. Stern Wanders the Prussian State Library, an encore run of this fictionalized account of the political philosopher Hannah Arendt’s arrest by the Nazis in 1933 and her surprising relationship with the officer guarding her

Written by: Jenny Lyn Bader        Directed by: Ari Laura Kreith

One good thing: The set-up is intriguing, especially since it focuses on something about Arendt other than her famous comment about “the banality of evil”  

One not-so-great thing:  Unfortunately, the banal storytelling fails to show what motivated either of its main characters
